We help small to mid-sized businesses across the UK grow their visibility, attract more local customers, and dominate search in their service areas. We combine smart local search strategies, content optimisation, and performance tracking to deliver real, measurable results. As we expand, we're looking for a talented Local SEO Specialist to join our team and support our growing client base.

The Role

You'll be responsible for planning and implementing local SEO strategies across a variety of client campaigns. From optimising Google Business Profiles to building local citations and geo-targeted content, you'll ensure our clients are ranking where it matters most, locally.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective on-page and off-page SEO strategies Conduct technical SEO audits and implement fixes Perform keyword research and competitor analysis Optimise website content, meta tags, and internal linking Monitor performance metrics (traffic, rankings, conversions) and report regularly Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and tools Collaborate with content writers to ensure SEO best practices are applied Contribute to the overall digital marketing strategy for clients

Requirements

Proven experience in SEO (agency or freelance work) Strong knowledge of Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush/Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog Solid understanding of HTML, site structure, and technical SEO Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress Ability to communicate clearly and explain SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders Analytical mindset and results-oriented approach Strong written English and attention to detail Experience with local SEO campaigns

Nice to Have

Knowledge of schema markup and site speed optimisation Familiarity with content briefs and SEO content strategy Basic understanding of PPC and how it complements SEO
