Job Description

Executive - Packaging (Personal Care) will bring in the necessary skills and expertise to develop relevant packaging and processes for personal care products innovations, deliver on time and cost targets (OTIF). Supports projects through effective and efficient delivery of packaging trials (and preliminary analysis of results), Packaging and product interactions, technical reports or communication. Contributes to the planning and executes trials, tests, measurement activities within projects. Should have strong willingness to work with the team and building interpersonal relationship for the faster project deliveries.
Packaging development and Project Management

• Support in Need based packaging development for all the specified projects as per agreed timelines, andensuring the necessary follow up, coordination and communication is done timely based on the direction given by the supervisors and by applying his/her own experience and creativity. Key materials: Sound knowledge on key materials HDPE, PET, PP, Pumps, Casps, labels, outer cartons etc
• Supports projects through effective and efficient delivery of trials (and preliminary analysis of results), product, technical reports or communication.
• Label projects handling and product development as per customer requirement
• Contributes to the planning and executes trials, tests, measurement activities within projects.

Value Engineering and EPD

• Support in Scope based packaging development through value engerinhg, specification upgradation, wherever scope exists.
• Coordinate and arrange relevant packaging materials for conducting required trial

Packaging Evaluation & Instrument Handling

• Conduct evaluation on the packaging developed
• Instrument handling G
• Define and propose technical specifications.
• Keep the lab and instrument up and running with on time calibrations etc.
• Systematic documentation of the experimental results in the record books.

Packaging development and Project Management

• OTIF Packaging development and technical deliveries
• Successful introduction of products/launch
• Improving production process and effciency
• Support to Plant quality for maintaing the packaging consistency
• Establishing and bringing in new technologies/sustainability to the packaging

Value Engineering and EPD

• OTIF Packaging development and technical deliveries of value engineering projects to bring in the Savings to P&L of business
• Ensure the timely delivery of EPD as per the agreed timelines with stakeholders

Packaging Evaluation & Instrument Handling

• Ensure the evaluation of products against benchmark.
• Ensure the technical attributes of the packaging material
• Ensure proper handling of lab instrument
• Ensure the good documentation practice
• 4-7 years of working experience in Personal and Home care Category Experience in PC and Home care Packaging development and HDPE, PET, Jar, Pump, Tubes, Wrapper, PP, labels etc
• Qualification Enginieering or Diploam in Packaging -Mandatory
