To lead and manage the Treasury Operational Risk and compliance product framework, developing related authorisation, overseeing the governance function and supporting operational risk process and within Treasury, project manage ad hoc projects in order to drive enhanced revenue opportunities, ensure risks are appropriately assessed and monitored in order to drive improvement in business performance within Treasury.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Business and Project Management
Project manage ad hoc Treasury initiatives and projects to ensure they are implemented successfully and within a timely manner and budget. Oversee and support business decisions on behalf of Head of Business Management, in order to oversee their implementation and compliance within the department. Communicate project timelines and deadlines to all stakeholders, reporting and problem solving/trouble shooting in order to complete projects on time and to budget
2. Product Governance and Operational Risk
Assume responsibility for Treasury product oversight and governance arrangements relating to internal processes, functions and strategies aimed at designing products, bringing them to the market support desk with New Initiative Risk Assessment (NIRA), in line with the new product approval process and reviewing them over their life cycle to ensure these are in line with agreed the governance framework and revenue lines. Lead overseas Treasury OR and compliance on behalf of Treasury in order to report OR events, Key Risk Indicator (KRI), Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) coordination.
3. Stakeholder Management
Liaise with internal stakeholders including Sharia Advisory, OR, Legal and Compliance, engendering confidence in Treasury and governance function, representing Treasury at the Product Governance Committee to ensure adequate Treasury representation. Deputise for the Line Manager at key operational Committees, such as OR Working Groups, Fraud and Compliance Working Group and Information Security to ensure Treasury has adequate representation
4. People Management
Manage self and team in line with ADCB\xe2\x80\x99s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance. Manage the effective achievement of the team\xe2\x80\x99s objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing the team and providing formal and informal feedback to maximise overall performance, engagement and motivation.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
Minimum Experience
At least 7 years of experience in a Banking/Financial Institution
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Business, or Economics
Knowledge and Skills Advanced knowledge of Treasury related accounting
Strong understanding of international financial reporting standards and treasury related products and accounting
Experience with Banking accounting principles and procedures
Numerical and financial analysis skills
Understanding of Banking Products and Services
Numerical and financial analysis skills
Knowledge of operating and capital budget concepts
Ability to analyse financial data and to prepare accurate reports in a timely fashion.
