Job Description

v Good and effective communication skills so as to be able to pass ideas across to kitchen staff and also understand what exactly customers want

v Good leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team

v Good organizational and problem-solving skills

v Ability to multi-task and coordinate activities in pressing situations

v Good time management skills to complete much tasks and meet set targets

v Must be creative and proactive in attending to the various needs of customers.

v Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

v A respectable knowledge of food handling and environmental sanitation standards

v A Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts OR Any other form of certification in catering would be of added advantage

v At least 2 years of work experience ( UAE Preferred ) as a chef in any good and reputable cafe , restaurant or catering

v Able to cook a variety of cafe and shop foods including drinks, preserves, , bake breads, rolls, cakes pastries , ice creams, snacks and main meals, for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans

v Knowledge in presenting the dishes will be an added advantage.

v Knowledge to operate ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters

v Have a sense of cleanliness to keep work areas, equipment and utensils clean
