About the Role:
The Baker Associate supports daily bakery operations by following the production plan, preparing ingredients and products with precision, and operating mixing equipment as instructed. They ensure accurate labeling, coordinate with the warehouse for supplies, and maintain high hygiene and safety standards in compliance with regulations.

About the Role:
The Baker Associate supports daily bakery operations by following the production plan, preparing ingredients and products with precision, and operating mixing equipment as instructed. They ensure accurate labeling, coordinate with the warehouse for supplies, and maintain high hygiene and safety standards in compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Refer to the daily production plan to identify scheduled products (e.g., bread, rolls, muffins, biscuits, doughnuts, French bread, Portuguese bread).
- Check inventory thoroughly to confirm the availability of all required ingredients.
- Set time and speed controls on mixing/blending machines or steam kettles according to instructions.
- Accurately measure or weigh flour and other ingredients based on company recipe manuals.
- Prepare batters, dough, fillings, or icing with precision.
- Ensure price tags on products are accurate, clean, and visible, including production and expiry dates.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to maintain stock of convenience items such as plastic bags, tissues, gloves, and trash bags.
- Maintain high standards of self-hygiene and wear a clean, proper uniform in line with government regulations.
- Contribute to a safe and hygienic work environment.
- Prior 2 - 3 years of experience in a bakery production setting, with direct baking experience is preferred.
- Basic understanding of bakery production processes.
- Ability to follow recipes and written instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
