Job Summary:
The incumbent, as the Monitor for GMG, is responsible for ensuring the quality, availability, and presentation of the assigned category for fresh produce across all 62 stores within Everyday Goods/ Retail. This role focuses on driving sales, reducing wastage, and optimizing assortment through regular store visits, performance analysis, and operational support.

Monitor and support the implementation of best practices for the assigned section of the market department (F&V) handling, display, and rotation to ensure quality and freshness.
Conduct regular store visits to evaluate performance in the assigned category (F&V), identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Analyze sales performance, wastage data, and assortment availability to ensure alignment with customer demand and company targets.
Work closely with store teams to ensure planogram compliance, proper stock rotation (FIFO), and optimal merchandising of F&V.
Provide on-ground coaching and guidance to store staff on maintaining hygiene, freshness, and visual appeal of F&V displays.
Ensure product assortment aligns with the local customer profile and location preferences.
Coordinate with the central planning & category teams to address availability or quality concerns.
Prepare and present performance reports to management, highlighting key insights and action plans.
Travel regularly to assigned locations; must hold a valid driving license.
