Job Title: Event/Transport Coordinator

Location: Lusail and Qatar University

Duration: May 10 to May 28, 2025 (18 Continuous Days)

Working Hours: 12 Hours per Day (in Shifts)

Dress Code: Formal attire with blazers

Job Overview

We are looking for experienced Event/Transport Coordinators to manage and oversee transportation logistics during a high-profile event in Qatar. The ideal candidates will be responsible for coordinating vehicle movements, managing transport schedules, ensuring smooth operations, and assisting event teams as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Organize and schedule transportation for event staff, guests, and VIPs. Monitor vehicle availability, driver assignments, and ensure timely pickups and drop-offs. Coordinate with transport vendors and drivers to optimize routes and minimize delays. Assist in overall event logistics, ensuring smooth movement of attendees and supplies. Manage crowd flow and transportation queues at designated locations. Provide real-time updates to the event team regarding transport operations. Act as a liaison between transport providers, event organizers, and security teams. Address any transportation-related concerns from guests or event personnel. Ensure all vehicles and drivers comply with safety regulations. Report and address any transport-related incidents or emergencies. Maintain transport logs, attendance records, and incident reports. Provide daily status updates to event managers. Track and report fuel usage, vehicle assignments, and operational challenges.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Transport Coordinator, Event Coordinator, or Logistics Officer. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work long hours in a fast-paced event environment. Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities. Familiarity with transport routes between Lusail and Qatar University Must be available for the entire event duration to work daily from 10th May to 28th May, 2025. Opportunity to work in a high-profile international event. Overtime shall be paid after 12 continuous working hours
