Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled

AV Technician

with at least

2 years of hands-on experience in the Events and Entertainment industry

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio-visual equipment to ensure seamless technical execution across corporate events, weddings, concerts, and destination management projects.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, test, and operate AV equipment including sound systems, microphones, projectors, LED screens, video conferencing, lighting, and stage equipment. Conduct pre-event checks to ensure functionality and quality of all technical equipment. Provide on-site technical support during events, troubleshooting AV issues promptly. Collaborate with the production and operations teams to align technical requirements with event objectives. Maintain an inventory of AV equipment, ensuring timely servicing and reporting of technical faults. Assist in stage and event area setup, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards. Support the Technical Manager in planning and implementing AV solutions for diverse event formats.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or technical certification in Audio-Visual Technology, Electronics, or related field. Minimum of

2 years' experience in AV operations within the Events and Entertainment sector

. Hands-on experience with sound systems, projection, LED walls, and stage lighting. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in live event environments. Familiarity with mixing consoles, playback systems, and AV software tools. Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly in fast-paced event conditions.
