What You'll Do

• Supervise and inspect setup of function rooms according to guest specifications and hotel standards.
• Lead, train, and develop team members and casual staff across events operations.
• Conduct banquet briefings, allocate staff, and manage service standards during events.
• Monitor event operations, ensuring compliance with grooming, attendance, and performance standards.
• Communicate effectively across departments to coordinate logistics and guest requirements.
• Manage administration tasks including reviewing BEOs, monitoring change logs, and maintaining operational documentation.
• Provide excellent guest interaction, handle complaints professionally, and promote hotel services.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization in both front-of-house and back-of-house event areas.
• Support cost control, efficient resource allocation, and guest satisfaction strategies.
• Oversee post-event debriefs, staff assignments, and reporting.

Ideal Profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a 5-star property.
• Strong communication, planning, and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
• Time management skills with the ability to prioritize under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of Delphi and Micros is advantageous.
• High school diploma required; a college or university degree preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
