Events and Activities Executive - Eco Retreat

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Events and Activities Executive to join our team in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. This role is pivotal in developing and expanding our events pillar, driving significant revenue growth, and increasing footfall to our eco-friendly retreat. The Events and Activities Executive will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing a variety of engaging events and activities that align with our retreat\'s mission and appeal to a diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities: * Events Strategy and Planning:

• Develop a comprehensive events strategy that aligns with the retreat\'s objectives, targeting different market segments and customer preferences.
• Identify opportunities for new event concepts, themes, and experiences that cater to both local and international visitors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of events, including coordinating logistics, marketing efforts, and guest engagement.
• Revenue Generation:

• Drive revenue growth through events and activities by setting ambitious targets and implementing effective pricing strategies.
• Monitor and analyse the financial performance of each event, making data-driven decisions to optimize profitability.
• Seek sponsorship and partnership opportunities to enhance event offerings and generate additional income.
• Event Execution:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events, including workshops, wellness retreats, cultural celebrations, corporate retreats, and more.
• Oversee event logistics, including venue setup, decorations, catering, technical equipment, and guest accommodations.
• Ensure that events run smoothly, addressing any issues that arise and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Marketing and Promotion:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective event marketing strategies that drive footfall and awareness.
• Create compelling event content, including promotional materials, social media campaigns, and online listings.
• Leverage digital platforms and other channels to attract a diverse audience and generate buzz around upcoming events.
• Customer Engagement:

• Understand guest preferences and trends to curate events and activities that resonate with our target audience.
• Gather and analyse guest feedback to continuously improve event offerings and enhance the overall experience.
• Foster relationships with attendees and cultivate a loyal community of event participants.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (Master\'s degree preferred).
• 6+ years of experience in event planning, execution, and revenue generation, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.
• Proven track record of successfully conceptualizing and executing events that drive revenue growth.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and introduce unique event concepts.
• Proficiency in event management software, marketing tools, and social media platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Passion for sustainability, eco-tourism, and creating memorable guest experiences.
