The Event Planner/Community Manager will be responsible for planning and executing strategic local events while establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with the community and key partners. This role requires keen market insight, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities to ensure the successful execution of events that align with the brand's objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
? Plan and organize 3 to 5 strategic local events from Q2 to Q4 of 2025 to promote brand communication and achieve business goals.
? Establish partnerships with local influencers, community leaders, and key stakeholders to enhance brand influence and communication effectiveness.
? Manage the full event planning and execution process, including pre-event preparations, on-site management, and post-event evaluations.
? Select and supervise external vendors or contractors to ensure high-quality event execution.
? Collect and analyze event data, providing detailed post-event reports and improvement recommendations.

Measure event attractiveness and its impact on brand awareness.

Track the number of high-quality leads generated through events.

Job Requirements:Basic Requirements:
? 2 to 3 years of experience in event planning and execution, with a strong understanding of offline event operations.
? Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple resources efficiently.
? Familiarity with local culture and market trends, with the ability to build trust-based relationships with communities and partners.
? Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills for effective international collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
? Work experience or an established network in Kenya or Nigeria.
? Proven success in influencer collaborations or community-based projects.
? Proficiency in event management tools (e.g., Eventbrite, Trello) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics).
