The Role We are seeking a marketing executive on Cityscape Qatar and Cityscape Bahrain with a background in email marketing, data segmentation and analysis, as well as executing marketing campaigns. The individual will be digitally literate and analytical with a history of continuous improvement and learning from past campaign performance. Experience in using marketing technologies (email marketing and CMS systems) and working with Analytics tools is a must. The candidate will be a strong communicator who works well as part of a marketing team and as a super-user and mentor to other marketers across the business. Job Summary/Responsibilities To work with the Marketing Manager and wider marketing team to deliver successful marketing campaigns for a pivotal hybrid exhibition in line with agreed KPI\'s. KPIs:
  • Database growth
  • Email responsiveness
  • Design and delivery of marketing campaigns in line with business objectives set out within the marketing plan
  • Adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Marketing KPI report
Main Duties & Responsibilities: PLANNING & CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT
  • Work with the Marketing manager to deliver marketing campaigns and event websites in line with strategic objective
  • Implement operational plans and ensure adherence to deadlines (including Demand gen plans, Time & Action Plans, Content Calendars, Budget Trackers)
  • Create data strategy for building the Cityscape Qatar and Cityscape Bahrain Databases
  • Ensure all tracking is in place (as per Informa guidelines) and that as much of the campaign can be attributed to a channel/activity as possible
  • Create email strategies, using Eloqua to build out campaign canvases, to write and execute emails
  • Raise PO\xe2\x80\x99s and maintain budget trackers
  • Appoint and manage external suppliers
  • Identify relevant audience profiles, build segments and coordinate with printer/mailing house for the delivery of direct mail campaigns whenever applicable.
ANALYSIS & INSIGHT
  • As directed by the marketing manager, monitor campaign performance and produce relevant and timely reports
  • Share relevant insights with the marketing manager to drive revenues or pursue new opportunities
  • Analyse and report trends over time and use these insights to build more effective campaigns
  • Capture relevant and timely data (onsite & post-show surveys, registration forms, industry research etc)
  • Work with internal teams to ensure data governance and data management policies are adhered to
  • Provide pre-agreed reports during and post-campaign to monitor channel effectiveness and ROI
  • Use recommended campaign analytics dashboards daily to monitor performance
  • Become part of a culture of testing and metrics-driven decision-making in the team
  • Share case studies with marketers within the team, division and Informa Markets
MARKETING EXECUTION
  • Identify target universe and key segments within target universe
  • Build data using all methods available
  • Send timely, relevant communications through designated mix of channels and optimize the effectiveness of these channels
  • Monitor and adjust campaign activity based on performance metrics
  • Build, maintain, and optimise websites and work with internal support teams to make advancements and maximise conversion from the sites
  • Ensure all marketing collateral, email marketing, website content and digital marketing is thoroughly proofed, adheres to brand guidelines and agreed Informa standards
  • Optimising and updating the Cityscape Bahrain and Cityscape Qatar websites

  • Experience in working with CMS platforms (but coding knowledge not required) (Preferably Adobe Experience Manager)
  • Experience in marketing analytics and reporting platforms (Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics or others)
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office including intermediate/advanced PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Proficient in the use of Canva (desirable)

Desired skills
  • Experience in using marketing automation technology (preferably Eloqua)
  • Experience of Adobe Experience Manager
  • Events marketing experience
  • Fluent in English & Arabic speaking is a must
