Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

The Estimation Engineer cum Quantity Surveyor is responsible for

accurate project costing, tendering, quantity take-offs, cost control, valuation, and commercial management

of building construction projects from

pre-tender stage through final account closure

. The role ensures financial discipline, contractual compliance, and profitability of projects.

Key Responsibilities1. Estimation & Tendering

Prepare

detailed cost estimates

for residential, commercial, and mixed-use buildings (G+12 structures). Study

IFC drawings, specifications, BOQs, and authority requirements

(DM, DDA, Trakhees). Perform

quantity take-offs

for civil, architectural, structural, MEP, and finishing works. Prepare

rate analysis

considering material, labor, plant, preliminaries, and overheads. Coordinate with

procurement, planning, and engineering teams

for accurate pricing. Float

RFQs

, analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations, and finalize competitive pricing. Prepare and submit

tender documents, clarifications, and value-engineering proposals

.
Contract & Commercial Management

Review and interpret

contracts, subcontracts, LOIs, and scope documents

. Assist in

contract negotiation and finalization

with subcontractors. Ensure compliance with

FIDIC-based or bespoke construction contracts

. Manage

final accounts

, reconciliation, and close-out documentation. Support

claims, counter-claims, extensions of time (EOT)

, and commercial correspondence.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
