Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Prepares and estimates budget costs for joinery/fit out/mep by studying plans and specifications. Studying documentation, meeting with clients, and inspecting the construction site to fully understand what work is required. Prepare comprehensive and well-organized cost estimates, including breakdowns of labor and material costs, for review by project managers and clients. Getting quotes from suppliers and contractors. Assessing the risk levels associated with a project. Work closely with project managers and designers.
Job Qualifications:
Ability to navigate specifications and plans Proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects Ability to handle multiple assignments Strong knowledge of joinery materials, techniques, and building codes/regulations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred. Experience with joinery-specific estimation software or CAD is required. At least 4 years of proven experience as a joinery estimator or similar role in the joinery/fit out and mep companies Professional certification in estimating is a plus.
