Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the fit-out and renovation industry. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, sourcing suppliers, and managing budgets to ensure projects are delivered within scope and cost. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of materials, labor costs, and industry standards, with the ability to provide cost-saving solutions and accurate project valuations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions for fit-out and renovation projects. Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine accurate quantities and costs. Conduct cost control throughout the project lifecycle and prepare interim valuations. Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive rates. Monitor variations, prepare claims, and support contract administration. Provide cost advice and value engineering recommendations to management and clients.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in fit-out/renovation projects in the UAE. Strong knowledge of construction materials, pricing, and procurement. Proficiency in MS Office and estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Planswift, Candy). Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
