Minimum 3 to 4 years of Interior Fitout and Joinery experience in the United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed BOQ and cost estimates for interior fit-out and joinery works including civil, MEP, and FF&E components. Analyze project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and client requirements to identify cost impacts. Prepare quantity take-offs using AutoCAD and/or PDF markup tools. Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing and accurate scope matching. Develop cost breakdowns and pricing structures for tender submissions. Prepare value engineering options and alternatives when required. Coordinate with design, procurement, and project management teams to align technical and commercial expectations. Conduct site visits (as needed) to assess project complexities and validation of quantities. Monitor market trends, material prices, and labor costs to keep estimates up to date. Support in tender clarification meetings, negotiations, and post-award handovers.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or related field. Minimum 3 to 4+ years of experience in interior fit-out and joinery estimation within the UAE. Strong technical understanding of fit-out details including finishes, furniture, partitions, ceilings, and millwork. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, Bluebeam or Planswift (or similar take-off tools). Knowledge of local market suppliers, subcontractors, and pricing trends. Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail. Excellent time management and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Attributes

UAE Driving License Knowledge of authority regulations (e.g., ADM, Civil Defense) is a plus.
