Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator with a strong background in the fitout and interiors field, particularly within the UAE market. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of relevant experience in estimating for fit-out and interior projects.

Key Responsibilities:

All stages of an estimate including: project selection, estimate organization, take-off, pricing, review and closeout.

Communicate project progress/status with Management.

Prepare, analyze and maintain accurate quantities and thorough take offs from plans.

Manage and co-ordinate construction projects.

Estimate the cost of materials, time, labour, and equipment for construction projects, using contract bids, quotations, drawings and specifications

Decide how the tendering procedure will work, recommend tenders and conduct negotiations.

Keep track of the project's costs and budget

Work with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors

Estimating costs for structural, electrical or mechanical construction projects

Have a detailed and comprehensive knowledge of construction and construction methods.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.

Use computer spreadsheets and databases as well as estimating, take-off, and scheduling software.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in estimating and quantity surveying, with a focus on fitout and interior projects in the UAE.

Extensive experience as an estimator in the construction or Fitout field.

Exceptional time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.

Brilliant management and negotiation skills.

Strong negotiation skills.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in cost estimation and reporting.

Strong command over English language, for both verbal and written communications
