Job Description
The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions for interior fit-out and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) projects. The role requires strong analytical skills, technical knowledge, and attention to detail to ensure competitive and profitable pricing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to fully understand project scope and requirements. Prepare detailed BOQs, cost breakdowns, and pricing sheets for Fit-out and MEP works. Obtain quotations from subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors, and analyze them for cost-effectiveness. Evaluate technical and commercial aspects of bids to prepare competitive offers. Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure accuracy in cost estimation. Support management in tender negotiations and clarifications with clients/consultants. Conduct value engineering studies to achieve cost savings without compromising quality. Maintain and update a database of suppliers, subcontractors, and price benchmarks. Assist in risk analysis, budgeting, and project cost forecasting. Ensure timely submission of tenders and proposals.
