Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Estimator

with a strong background in

interior design (ID)

and

fit-out projects

, across the

commercial

and

residential

sectors. The successful candidate must have a

minimum of 2 years' experience working in KSA

, with solid knowledge of local pricing, suppliers, and market practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates for interior design and fit-out projects during all phases - concept, schematic, and detailed design. Analyze project drawings, specifications, and documents to prepare BOQs, cost breakdowns, and material take-offs. Work closely with design, procurement, and project management teams to ensure cost estimates align with project goals and budgets. Obtain and evaluate quotes from local and international suppliers and subcontractors. Maintain an up-to-date database of costs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted services relevant to the Saudi market. Participate in tendering processes, bid evaluations, and value engineering when needed. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or design intent. Prepare and submit final project budgets, variations, and cost reports as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in

Civil Engineering

,

Quantity Surveying

, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in KSA

working with

interior design or fit-out companies

. Proven experience with

commercial or residential interior projects

. Strong understanding of fit-out construction methods, finishes, materials, and local supplier pricing. Proficiency in estimation software such as

PlanSwift

,

Bluebeam

, or

Excel-based tools

. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Familiarity with Saudi Arabian building codes, regulations, and pricing structures.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in luxury or high-end fit-out projects is a plus. Knowledge of procurement procedures and contract documentation. Arabic language skills are an advantage but not mandatory.
