Job Description
Key Responsibilities:-
- Receive the enquiries from Sales team and evaluate scope of work and other factors that impact the cost.
- Visit sites/clients for job briefs and measurements if required.
- Liaising with CNC machine operators to estimate the machine time required.
- Quantity take offs for preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for material, labour, equipment, subcontracts etc. and share the same with operations for quotations.
- Ensure submissions of proposals as per the deadline.
- Sharing estimates/BOQs with the internal teams to enable them to carry out their tasks.
- Revise estimates to incorporate revisions in design, specification, variation etc (if required).
- Tracking all inquires and estimates submitted and presenting a weekly report to the line manager/management.
Qualifications:-
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering.
- 2-3 yrs experience as an estimator in an advertising industry/production set up.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
