to join our growing team. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out, civil, and general contracting projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of construction methods, and experience working with BOQs, drawings, and tender documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze drawings, specifications, and project scope to prepare detailed cost estimates.
Prepare BOQs and pricing for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor work.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to gather accurate quotations.
Evaluate tender documents and prepare competitive and compliant proposals.
Assist the project and commercial team in budget planning and cost control.
Track project variations and update estimates as needed.
Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings to understand project requirements.
Maintain a database of rates, suppliers, and past project costs.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Estimator in the construction or interior fit-out industry.
Strong understanding of construction techniques, market rates, and local regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
Strong communication skills for coordination with suppliers and internal teams.
Preferred:
Experience with both interior and civil works estimation.
Knowledge of local authority approval processes.
UAE experience.
