Conduct quantity take-offs for materials, labor, and equipment.
Collaborate with engineers and architects to clarify project scope and requirements.
Obtain and analyze quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Develop and maintain cost databases and historical data for future reference.
Prepare and submit detailed cost reports and bid proposals.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and risks in project execution.
Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling discussions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and contractual requirements.
Assist in post-project evaluations and cost performance analysis.
Requirements
:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in cost estimation, preferably in [industry].
Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, MS Excel).
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
