Job Description

We need an Estimator Engineer with 5+ years' experience in Fitout and FFE to prepare cost estimates, review drawings, and coordinate with project teams.

Technical Skills:

Package Segregation: Ability to break down project scope into individual trade packages (e.g., joinery, gypsum works, flooring, FFE, etc.) Comparison Sheets: Skilled in preparing technical and commercial comparison sheets to evaluate supplier/vendor offers Quantity Take-Offs: Accurate extraction and quantification from drawings and specifications Cost Estimation: Ability to develop detailed BOQs and apply accurate market rates Vendor Coordination: Experience liaising with subcontractors and suppliers for quotations and clarifications Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Excel (must), and working knowledge of AutoCAD, or estimation tools
Tendering & Documentation:

Experience in preparing and submitting complete tender packages Familiarity with reviewing tender documents, project specs, and contract conditions Capable of highlighting risks, exclusions, and value engineering opportunities
Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and numerical skills Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines Clear communicator with internal teams and external vendors Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving approach
Education:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architecture Certification in Quantity Surveying or Cost Estimation is a plus
Experience:

3-5+ years of proven experience in estimation, costing, and tendering specifically within fit-out, interior design, and FFE projects Strong understanding of Villas, high-end commercial, hospitality, or residential interior works, etc.
