Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: We are looking for a diligent Construction Estimator Engineer to prepare accurate estimates for projects by gathering information and analyzing important metrics. You will provide knowledge of costs and benefits that support profitable business decisions. KEY SKILLS:
- Prepare technical & commercial proposals and upload them to Tender Board.
- Obtain factored / sub-supplier costs where necessary.
- Attend clarification meetings with the Client when required.
- Ensure that tenders meet company commercial guidelines and have the necessary sign-off in accordance with the delegation of authority guidelines.
- Take responsibility for all associated handover documentation in the event of an order.
- Be familiar with the general specifications and market requirements.
- Familiar with the risks and hazards within the activities and processes of the role and procedures, practices and measures in place to mitigate the risks.
- Bachelor\'s degree in engineering or cost engineering
- 7-10 years of experience (last Five Years in tendering in Bahrain)
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Riffa: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
