Duties and Responsibilities : - 1. Read , Understand Scope of work , Pricing Bills, Commerical requirement etc and raise Clarifications
2 Participate in the daily management of the Estimating Department and its team, as required.
3 Ensure the necessary documentation is completed and maintained to ensure traceability of the Estimating Departments Activities.
4 Determine Proposal requirements and direct attention to those areas that appear inconsistent or contain a high risk element 5 Recommends cost saving measures during proposal stage
6 Attend and participate in Bid review meetings, estimate evaluation meetings, PROM meetings etc as required
7 Co ordinates and assists, where necessary, the functional department estimators to ensure the estimates are: Completed in a timely manner
8 Cognisant of the Bid 'Win Strategy' 9 Consistent with the Bid Strategy 10 Consistent with the Companies Benchmarking information 11 Coordinate changes to rates in the rate bank for the new EBS ME 12 Coordinate necessary benchmarking of bid information 13 Prepare Executive Bid Summary with all the cost included and risks covered Accurate - free from Errors and Omissions Qualifications- 1. University degree or completed commercial training with at least three years of professional experience in the field of quotation costing as well as in cost estimation of audiovisual installation projects, construction projects or comparable industries with project business.

6.Very good English skills required
