Job Description
Key Responsibilities: * Tendering & Bid Preparation
- Review tender documents (drawings, specifications, BOQ, etc.).
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and pricing for bids.
- Coordinate with procurement and subcontractors to gather quotations.
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs based on architectural and engineering drawings.
- Verify and cross-check BOQs provided by consultants or clients.
- Cost Analysis & Budgeting
- Prepare cost breakdowns and project budgets.
- Conduct cost comparison studies and value engineering proposals.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
- Evaluate commercial and technical offers to select the most cost-effective options.
- Identify potential risks and incorporate appropriate contingencies in the estimate.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the scope is clearly defined and aligned with client requirements.
