Estimation Engineer Power Distribution

Job Description
We are seeking an Estimation Engineer to join Power Distribution Team. The ideal candidate will support the preparation of competitive bids and cost estimates for Power Distribution Infrastructure Projects up to 11kV and 33kV, with experience in in preparing technical and commercial proposals for underground cable works, substations, and associated civil works in compliance with local utility authority standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs related to 11kV and 33kV MV/LV power distribution infrastructure, including underground cabling, substations, and civil works. Prepare accurate cost estimates and technical proposals for MV/LV cables, substations, transformers, and civil works. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to gather accurate pricing inputs and ensure technical compliance. Ensure compliance with utility authority standards (DEWA, FEWA, SEWA, ADDC). Support bid clarifications, presentations, and post-tender negotiations; maintain updated cost databases.
Qualification and skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 4-7 years' experience estimating electrical infrastructure projects up to 11kV and 33kV. Strong knowledge of MV/LV power distribution systems and authority regulations. Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD; experience with estimation software (e.g., CCS Candy) preferred. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and good communication.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
