Job Summary:

Metaform Industries LLC is seeking a highly skilled

Electrical Engineer

with a strong background in

power generation and distribution systems

, including

power backup solutions

and

critical infrastructure projects

such as

data centers

. The ideal candidate must be capable of designing, planning, and executing high-reliability electrical systems, ensuring uninterrupted power supply and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and supervise installation of low and medium voltage

electrical distribution systems

, including switchgear, panel boards, transformers, and UPS systems. Prepare load calculations, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and cable sizing for various electrical systems. Review and evaluate designs for

power generation systems

, including generators, ATS, and synchronization panels. Develop and implement

power backup strategies

(UPS, diesel generators) for critical facilities such as

data centers and telecom facilities

. Conduct site assessments and power audits to evaluate reliability and efficiency of existing systems. Ensure compliance with local and international standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NFPA 70). Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and IT teams during integrated infrastructure projects. Prepare technical documentation including BOQs, method statements, and submittals for approval. Support commissioning and testing of electrical systems and components. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in operational systems and propose upgrades/improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 6 years of proven experience in

electrical distribution

,

power generation

, and

critical infrastructure

projects. Hands-on experience in

data centers

,

backup power systems

, and

redundant power configurations

. Proficient in AutoCAD, Dialux/Relux, ETAP, or similar power system analysis software. Solid knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, NEC). Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
