Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Estimation Engineer (Electrical)

with up to 5 years of experience to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive and accurate electrical estimates, cost proposals, and tender submissions for various residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements and scope. Prepare detailed quantity take-offs (QTOs) and Bill of Quantities (BOQs) for electrical systems including lighting, power, LV systems, panels, and cable routing. Collect and analyze material, equipment, and subcontractor quotations to support pricing. Develop cost estimates and pricing strategies in coordination with the project and design teams. Assist in preparing technical and commercial bid proposals in response to RFPs. Maintain a database of suppliers, vendors, and pricing information. Liaise with procurement and engineering departments for clarification and project inputs. Support the team in variation orders, budget revisions, and post-tender clarifications. Attend pre-bid and site meetings when necessary.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering . 5 years of relevant experience in estimation or electrical project engineering. Strong understanding of electrical drawings, SLDs, BOQs, and specifications. Familiarity with tendering procedures and estimation best practices. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software . Good communication, analytical, and time management skills.
