Island Tower Group of Companies is currently seeking a competent and detail-oriented

Building Contract Estimator

to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have solid experience in estimating building construction projects from

piling and foundation works up to project handover

. Prior

GCC experience

is acceptable and highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and documentation to develop accurate cost estimates. Prepare comprehensive BOQs, cost breakdowns, and tender submissions. Coordinate with project managers, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors for scope clarifications and pricing. Evaluate and compare subcontractor/supplier quotes to ensure alignment with project requirements. Conduct site visits (as needed) to gather accurate project information for cost estimation. Maintain updated cost data, pricing trends, and historical records. Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies. Monitor project costs and provide variance analysis against the original budget.

Requirements:

Minimum

5 years of experience

in construction estimation, covering

piling, substructure, superstructure, and finishing works

. Prior

GCC experience

is accepted and preferred. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and market rates. Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Candy, AutoCAD, MS Excel). Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings. Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.

UAE Driving License

is preferred.
