We are looking for an ESG Coordinator to be responsible for managing and reporting on activities, events, policies and practices related to ESG initiatives, where he/she will be responsible for managing and reporting on activities, events, policies and practices related to ESG initiatives, and have direct input to the development the sustainability strategy .

Our ideal candidate should have hunger for learning and developing within the team, self-motivated and able to work to deadlines, ability to work in a team or individual basis, and ability to self-motivate good communication and observation skills.

This opportunity will be based in our Dubai support office.

Key accountabilities
Work closely with relevant teams and will need to have a comprehensive /holistic knowledge of sustainability and wider environmental, social and governance issues.
Help develop ESG strategy that is achievable, evidence-based, and data-led.
Act as a central point for ESG projects across the division\xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure ESG Comms Plan (internal and external) is delivered on time and content finalised.
Manage ESG events such as volunteering efforts and heavy involvement in Zero Harm Week.
Manage and promote the Serco ESG Sharepoint and content, ensure relevant and up to date.
Develop and share an ESG annual calendar of internal and external events and publish on the ESG Sharepoint page.
Review Modern Slavery responses to due diligence questionnaires from suppliers and initiate calls for interviews with suppliers and recommend outcome to Head of Safety and Risk Management.
Ensure Monthly Accommodation Inspection for suppliers and review of accommodation inspections in ASSURE to identifying any gaps or non-completions and ensure schedule is running as per plan reviewing each month. Collate action items and follow up as needed
Review accuracy of data in ASSURE while vetting the inputs from others in the division and prepare ESG content for Monthly HSE committee meeting and other meetings.
Prepare draft reports for all ESG (environmental, social, governance including assurance) on a regular basis
Build a network and form relationships between other ESG representatives and leads across other Serco divisions
Develop and deliver an ESG Newsletter to go out across the Division on a monthly basis for 2023
Develop and update a monthly register of all ESG projects and initiatives to ensure endof year ESG report collation for year-end Ensure minutes and actions from Serco GoesGreen/ESG Group Monthly calls are documented and shared each month with allattendees and follow up on close out of actions.

Specific Requirements
Broad understanding of planning in relation to driving ESG initiatives across the division
Demonstrable experience in the development of environmental and sustainability strategies
Good technical and communication skills and s trong data management and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and quality of documents.
Good knowledge of ESG related topics and meaning of ESG and f amiliar with ESG reporting requirements.
Experience in managing Data and Analytics regarding key corporate ESG reporting
Experience in Risk and Compliance management within the ESG & Sustainability landscape
Qualification in Quality, Health and Safety or Environmental.
Auditor qualification. Knowledge of any relevant regulations such as GDPR guidelines, charitable laws and regulations in UAE, KSA.
