Job Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities for ERP software products.
Generate leads through cold calls, networking, referrals, and industry events.
Build and manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
Understand client needs and tailor ERP solutions to address their pain points.
Serve as the primary point of contact during the pre-sales and negotiation process.
Have deep understanding of the ERP software's features, modules, and benefits.
Conduct product demos and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Collaborate with technical teams to align proposed solutions with client requirements.
Analyze market trends, industry needs, and competitor activity.
Develop strategies to position the ERP product effectively in target markets.
Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams for solution improvements.
Prepare commercial proposals, pricing models, and contracts.
Lead proposal presentations and respond to RFPs (Requests for Proposals).
Negotiate terms and close deals in alignment with company policies.
Work closely with technical, marketing, and implementation teams.
Ensure smooth handover to implementation/project teams post-sale.
Support marketing efforts like campaigns, events, and webinars.
Maintain accurate sales records and update CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management.
Ensure a smooth transition from sales to service delivery.
Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and explore upsell opportunities.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology or a related field.
3-7 years of experience in business development or sales in the ERP software or enterprise solutions domain.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in B2B software or SaaS.
Solid understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or custom ERP platforms).
Ability to understand technical features, modules (finance, HR, inventory, CRM, etc.), and implementation workflows.
Strong skills in lead generation, client engagement, proposal development, and deal closing.
Experience in managing full sales cycles -- from prospecting to negotiation and closure.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build client relationships and conduct product demos.
Skilled in preparing presentations, sales pitches, and formal proposals.
Ability to assess client business needs and propose ERP solutions accordingly.
Strong market awareness and competitive intelligence skills.
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and digital communication tools.
Willingness to travel for client meetings, presentations, and trade shows.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently and in teams.
