Job Description
Environmental Officer
Job Type: temporary, 3-4 months, extendable Location: Doha, Qatar
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation of the
Project Environmental Management Plan (EMP)
. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with environmental standards (dust, noise, waste, water management). Monitor waste segregation, recycling, and safe disposal through approved contractors. Support in maintaining environmental permits, records, and documentation. Report environmental issues, incidents, and non-conformities to the Environment Manager. Conduct toolbox talks and awareness sessions for workers and subcontractors. Assist in the preparation of environmental monitoring reports for submission to the client/consultant. Coordinate with the HSE team to ensure compliance with sustainability and environmental goals.Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Engineering or equivalent.
4 years' experience
in environmental management within thebuilding construction industry
. Knowledge of Qatar's environmental laws, MOECC requirements, and ISO 14001 standards. Strong communication and reporting skills.Job Type: Permanent
