Job Description

Roles and responsibilities Supports Project Management in achieving Environmental goals and KPIs as set for the project. Can support the staff of more than one project with his knowledge of projects' environmental aspects/impacts. Monitor and ensure subcontractors' implementation of HSEMS. Implement and monitor performance of Environment Management System requirements. Conduct Environment Aspect/Impact assessment for activities. Conduct Environmental awareness/training sessions. Reports to Environmental Superintendent on all project Environmental issues. Supports Environmental Engineer and Project Manager in adherence to Environment Management Plans. Performs incident and accident investigations and reports findings back to Environmental Superintendent. Assists and performs internal management system audits to monitor compliance with the company EMS. Reporting the performance details of the Implemented HSEMS to the top management at periodic intervals and during the Management Review meetings. Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting to stakeholders, educating staff, and raising awareness about environmental policies. Problem-Solving : Being proactive in identifying environmental issues and creating practical solutions. Knowledge of Environmental Technologies : Familiarity with green technologies, energy efficiency systems, and eco-friendly practices. Health and Safety Standards : Understanding how environmental concerns relate to workplace safety and employee well-being. Qualifications: Diploma in a related field, or equivalent. Holder of NEBOSH / IOSH Diploma or an equivalent internationally recognized HSE certification is preferable. Minimum 03 years of related work experience in similar industries. Flexible in terms of work location (onshore or offshore). Desired candidate profile

Environmental Regulations and Compliance Knowledge : Understanding of environmental laws, policies, and regulations at local, state, and federal levels (e.g., EPA standards in the U.S., or EU regulations).

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) : Ability to evaluate the environmental impact of projects and propose strategies to mitigate negative effects.

Sustainability Practices : Knowledge of sustainability initiatives, renewable energy, waste management, and resource conservation strategies.

Risk Management : The ability to assess environmental risks and create plans to address them effectively.

Data Analysis : Skills in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting environmental data (e.g., air quality, water quality, noise levels, etc.) and preparing reports.

Project Management : Ability to manage environmental projects, ensuring that environmental considerations are integrated into planning, design, and execution. #J-18808-Ljbffr
