We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Environment Engineer (Road O&M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for managing environmental aspects of road operations and maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with local and international environmental regulations.

Conduct environmental impact assessments for road maintenance and operation activities Develop and implement waste management strategies for road construction and maintenance projects Monitor air and water quality in areas affected by road operations Utilize GIS software and AutoCAD to create environmental maps and plans Perform environmental modeling to predict and mitigate potential impacts of road projects Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to integrate environmental considerations into road O&M plans Ensure compliance with Qatar's environmental regulations and international best practices Develop and maintain environmental management systems for road operations Prepare environmental reports and present findings to stakeholders Implement sustainable infrastructure practices in road maintenance and operations

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field 5 years of experience in environmental engineering, preferably in road infrastructure projects Proficiency in environmental impact assessment methodologies and techniques Expertise in using GIS software, AutoCAD, and environmental modeling tools Familiarity with project management tools and techniques In-depth understanding of environmental regulations in Qatar and international standards Knowledge of sustainable infrastructure practices and their application in road O&M Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Willingness to work on-site and travel within Qatar as needed
