About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Civil Engineer specializing in Roads Operations and Maintenance (O&M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Civil Engineer (Roads O&M), you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the road infrastructure in the region.

Develop and implement comprehensive road maintenance strategies and plans Conduct regular inspections of road networks to assess conditions and identify maintenance needs Analyze pavement management data to prioritize maintenance and rehabilitation projects Design and oversee road repair, resurfacing, and reconstruction projects Collaborate with traffic engineers to optimize road safety and efficiency Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and project schedules Ensure compliance with local and international road design standards and regulations Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles Implement and maintain quality control measures for road construction and maintenance activities Utilize GIS and other software tools to manage and analyze road network data Participate in emergency response planning and execution for road-related incidents

What do we need from you

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Minimum 5 years of experience especially in roads operations and maintenance Proven experience with road infrastructure projects and familiarity with local and international road design standards Expertise in road design, construction, and infrastructure maintenance and rehabilitation techniques Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail Strong organizational and time management abilities Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously Willingness to work in various weather conditions and perform site visits as required
