As an Enterprise Data Modeler, you will lead the development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support financial reporting, risk management, regulatory obligations, and analytics functions. Your work will drive standardization, metadata alignment, and data quality improvements across a modern, cloud-based data ecosystem. Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain end-to-end data models covering Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Risk, Compliance, and Customer domains
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and build scalable models aligned with governance frameworks and regulatory mandates (e.g., BCBS 239, KYC, AML)
• Support implementation of models in enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and real-time data systems
• Standardize data definitions and establish consistent metadata practices across platforms
• Contribute to the bank's data lineage, cataloguing, and MDM initiatives
• Provide model documentation, data dictionaries, and data flow diagrams to support transparency and integration
• Work on post-merger data harmonization and system consolidation efforts
• Keep up to date with regulatory changes and best practices in data modelling, banking compliance, and big data technologies

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Information Systems
• Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise-level data modelling, ideally within banking or financial services
• Advanced proficiency in data modelling tools like ERwin or IBM Infosphere Data Architect
• In-depth knowledge of relational, dimensional, and data vault modelling techniques
• Strong understanding of financial services data domains (accounts, customers, transactions, products, risk, compliance)
• Hands-on SQL experience and database expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or DB2
• Experience with Azure-based data warehouses, lakes, and governance tools
• Familiarity with data compliance and governance frameworks including GDPR, Basel III, and BCBS 239

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and metadata management solutions
• Exposure to Hadoop, Spark, or real-time streaming platforms like Kafka or Confluent
• Understanding of real-time data modelling for fraud detection and payments
• Background in enterprise data integration or M&A environments
