The Senior Data Engineer will architect and manage high-performance data pipelines, mentor a team of engineers, and collaborate closely with business intelligence teams to deliver robust, scalable, and real-time data solutions. The role also involves hands-on coding in Java, Scala, and Python, while ensuring best practices in data modeling, cloud integration, and stream processing. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of distributed data pipelines using Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Pig, HBase, and related frameworks
• Develop optimized MapReduce and Hive jobs and integrate data from diverse sources including NoSQL stores like Cassandra and HBase
• Manage and guide BI teams and third-party vendors on project prioritization, data modeling, and dashboard delivery
• Implement and monitor data quality checks and auditing processes
• Build and maintain dimensional data models for efficient data access and business reporting
• Design real-time streaming solutions using Spark-Streaming or Storm
• Contribute to open-source or internal big data libraries, and stay updated with evolving technologies
