Job Description

Role Purpose
Own the end-to-end AI technology architecture for a diversified investment group, ensuring scalable, secure, and business-aligned adoption of AI across portfolio companies and corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead selection, evaluation, and integration of AI platforms, LLMs, MLOps tools, and data infrastructure across the group
Assess existing IT, cloud, and data landscapes; define target-state AI architecture
Design enterprise-grade AI reference architectures (data, model, integration, security)
Partner with investment teams, IT, digital, and portfolio leadership to align AI initiatives with value creation
Drive standardization, reuse, and interoperability across portfolio companies
Ensure scalability, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency of AI solutions
Establish architectural governance, documentation, and best practices
Evaluate emerging AI technologies for strategic adoption
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to AI engineers and data teams
Translate complex AI concepts into executive-level business language
Required Experience & Skills
15+ years in architecture roles (AI, data, cloud, or enterprise platforms)
Proven delivery of enterprise-scale AI or advanced analytics platforms
Strong background in:
Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Data platforms (lakehouse, streaming, feature stores)
MLOps / LLMOps
API and integration architecture
Experience in regulated or complex enterprise environments
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication
Nice to Have
Consulting or Big Tech background
Exposure to investment firms, conglomerates, or shared services models
Experience with GenAI governance and platform enablement
