The Engineering Team Leader is responsible for supervising daily operations and maintenance of hotel facilities, ensuring all engineering tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This role supports the Chief Engineer by managing a team of technicians and ensuring prompt, high-quality service to guests and staff while maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards.
Supervise and guide engineering team members in maintaining the hotel's mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems.
Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Allocate tasks, monitor job performance, and ensure all maintenance work is carried out effectively and safely.
Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution.
Assist in energy conservation programs and initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve technical issues affecting operations or guest satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Train, mentor, and evaluate engineering staff.
Report major problems and suggest improvements to the Chief Engineer.
Respond to emergencies and ensure rapid, professional resolutions.
