We are seeking a

highly experienced Engineering Manager

to lead the engineering function within our construction division in Dubai. The ideal candidate will oversee the technical and engineering aspects of multiple projects, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, design excellence, and timely execution within budget.

This leadership role requires a deep understanding of construction methodologies, project coordination, and the Dubai regulatory environment.

Leadership & Team Management

Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team of civil, structural, and MEP engineers. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with project schedules and objectives. Mentor and develop engineering staff to achieve professional growth and operational excellence. Foster teamwork, safety culture, and continuous improvement across all projects.

Project Planning & Execution

Oversee the engineering design, technical drawings, and execution methodologies for ongoing projects. Ensure all designs comply with Dubai Municipality (DM), Trakhees, RTA, DEWA, DCD, and other local authority requirements. Review and approve engineering deliverables including shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals. Coordinate with consultants, architects, and contractors to resolve technical issues on-site. Monitor project progress and support the project team in achieving milestones.

Technical & Quality Control

Ensure all construction activities meet the company's quality standards and safety protocols. Review and validate structural designs, calculations, and technical reports. Implement value engineering and innovative construction techniques to optimize cost and time. Conduct site inspections and ensure technical compliance during all project phases.

Budgeting & Resource Management

Prepare and control engineering budgets, manpower allocation, and resource planning. Support tendering and estimation teams with technical input for bids and proposals. Evaluate and approve vendor and subcontractor technical submissions.

Regulatory & Compliance

Liaise with government authorities for design approvals and NOCs. Stay updated on Dubai building codes, construction regulations, and safety standards. Ensure all engineering works comply with environmental and sustainability regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Civil Engineering

,

Structural Engineering

, or a related field.

5+ years of experience

in construction engineering, including

at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role

. Proven track record in large-scale

residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects

within the UAE. Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations, DEWA, RTA, and other local authority procedures. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera, and MS Project. PMP certification or Chartered Engineer status is an advantage.

Strong technical background with problem-solving capability. Experience in design management and value engineering. Knowledge of sustainability standards (LEED, Estidama). Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
