We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Estimation Engineer
with a strong background insteel fabrication
to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for local and international projects, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with project specifications. The candidate must also have hands-on experience inmaterial submittals
related to steel structures.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and tenders for steel fabrication projects. Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to determine material, labor, and time requirements. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and technical compliance. Prepare and review
material submittals
in line with client and consultant requirements. Support project teams with cost analysis, risk assessment, and value engineering. Work on bothlocal and international projects
, ensuring compliance with standards and contractual requirements. Collaborate with technical, procurement, and project execution teams for seamless project delivery.Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum
3-5 years of UAE experience
in estimation withinsteel fabrication industry
. Strong knowledge ofmaterial submittals
for steel structure projects. Proficiency in estimation software, MS Excel, AutoCAD, and related tools. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.Job Type: Full-time
