Roles and Responsibilities:
Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide the CAD, 3 D drawings and the full SORs of the designated local commodities to the direct purchasing team and the SQ team- Support with any technical data/knowledge during the course of the development phase
- Timely release the local items at the PPV and all subsequent steps to ensure a flawless launch
- Ensure that local parts are meeting the quality standard of the home room
- Develop the local suppliers’ quality and the local content mandates
- Develop a robust sourcing strategy
- Perform qualification audit, surveillance audit and quality incident audit of direct materials suppliers
- Leverage the cost of the local commodities through a continuous screening to the local market
- Lead the direct buyers to plan and execute actions to achieve/exceed the budget savings and the cost book values
Requirements
B.Sc Mechanical engineering is a must- Min 7 years of experience In the automotive industry with a strong track record as a leader for min of 2-3 years
- Excellent command of English language both written and verbal
- Good command of Microsoft office
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with high ability of critical thinking
- Willingness to take responsibilities and drive the solution of complex problems
- Team player capable of integrating & work well in cross functional team
- Results driven and targets oriented
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Proactively builds effective working relationship with his 360 degrees
- Experienced in components design, development and sign off
