Job Announcement ENG Cameraman/ Editor

The Middle East Broadcasting Networks, Inc. (MBN) is seeking a creative Cameraman/Editor for our Broadcast Operations team at our offices in Dubai.

The Cameraman/ Editor is responsible for recording, assembling, editing, and filing packages/rushes for contribution into news and other programs. They will record images and sounds to illustrate news events and stories for breaking and spot news, news features, sports, and magazine packages. In addition they will assemble and edit content in the field in a non-linear environment and file content from the field for use in news and programs.

Candidates must be able to: Effectively using bonded cellular, IP based media delivery and transport methods and technology. Understand and utilize the XD Cam format. Effectively manages and completes assignments timely. Records and Mixes audio; set up studio sets as required. Calls up teleprompter scripts. Provides lighting support as necessary. Troubleshoots audio and video equipment as required. Manages time and resources efficiently. Complies consistently with MBN's Journalistic Code of Ethics and all other Department and MBN standards, policies, and procedures. Communicates professionally with all staff across MBN. Candidates must have:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in an active live news operation. Minimum of 5 years as an Cameraman/Editor. Proven photojournalistic and production skills and demonstrated proficiency on a variety of camera/lens configurations and associated field production gear. Non-linear editing proficiency required. Experience with Adobe Premier Pro preferred.
