Emirati IT Supervisor, DubaI

Position Summary:

The IT Supervisor organizes, promotes and leads IT projects and evolution and guarantees that

information systems set up is in line with the clients strategic orientations. Partner with the business,

contractors, its regional office and Group head transversal team from all over the world depending on

subject and time slot in follow the sun mode.

Main tasks and Responsibility

. Supervises and support the data and voice network infrastructure and hosted systems

throughout the countries of its cluster

. Manages the day-to-day operation of the IT infrastructure, to ensure maximum network and

system availability to the business during normal production hours and coordinates

maintenance and upgrade activities after production hours as needed.

. Manages projects by coordinating resources, setting priorities, providing technical assistance,

and tracking progress until completion

. Steer the project as part of the established budget and planning.

. Ensure communication to the stakeholders and animate projects governance bodies.

. Promote and lead IT evolution as part of Group IT strategy.

. Align with the guidelines of Group cybersecurity and ensure security compliance is treated as

high priority.

. Manages contractors, and suppliers, risk detection and prevention, backups

. Manages IT assets inventory

. Prepares and monitor IT budget according to Agency, DRO and HO guidelines

. Provides technical assistance to office staff as needed.

. Assists in software and hardware upgrades.

. Adds or updates workstations for office staff.

. Performs routine PC maintenance and updates for performance efficiency

. Performs regular audit systems

. Supervises and process help desk support requests.

. Liaises with Service providers to maintain ACs, UPSs Internet lines and telephony lines.

Skills and Qualification:

. Diploma in IT

. Proactive attitude

. Strong hardware, software, and network Troubleshooting skills.

. Good knowledge of Wireless (Meraki) and Telephony (Cisco).
