Job Title Emergency Preparedness Training

Description



Develop and support the implementation the Barakah Onsite Emergency Preparedness Training Program. Ensure alignment with offsite training and provide maintenance of the program as appropriate. Includes planning, reporting, and procedure documentation responsibilities to drive best practices across the organization.

Plans and Procedures

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Maintain the Nawah Emergency Preparedness Training Procedures and other documentation to ensure the governance of the planning, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of emergency preparedness training.
Planning, Monitoring, and Reporting

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • File training-related findings and opportunities for improvement into a formal corrective action program, in order to track those items to completion.
Emergency Preparedness Training

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Participate in the development, revision and delivery of the emergency preparedness training program, as appropriate to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Develop the training matrices for personnel assigned to the Nawah emergency response organization and other individuals requiring emergency preparedness-related training in order to maintain qualifications.
  • Support the maintenance the emergency preparedness training program database in order to maintain records for staff.
  • Participate in training to attain and maintain proficiency in the development/revision and delivery of the emergency preparedness training program, as appropriate.
  • Provide assistance to maintain the Emergency Plan Training Program to ensure it is up to date.
Emergency Response Facilities and Equipment

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Verify the availability of training facilities, equipment, and communications systems required to support emergency preparedness-related training activities to ensure facility readiness.
  • Verify sufficient simulator time is scheduled to support emergency preparedness-related training activities, as appropriate to ensure resource availability.
Training and Qualifications

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Develop the appropriate training plans, training materials, and awareness sessions to ensure that team members receive the necessary training and skills required for their development.
  • Keep current with emergency preparedness-related best practices and update colleagues, as appropriate to diffuse knowledge throughout organization.
  • Execute all required initial and refresher training courses and requirements in order to attain and maintain the required qualifications and certifications in areas of specialization.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Follow all relevant company's Health and Safety policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure compliance in all aspects of work as per sound management practices. Apply these policies and procedures to self and others to ensure reasonable care of the health and safety of the employee; the environment; and various individuals who may be affected by the employee's acts or omissions at work.
  • Follow all relevant Security policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure security compliance in all aspects of work, by applying them on self, others and Corporate assets.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate requirements for adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to Crisis Management and Business Continuity in order to continue mission critical activities.

Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other Physical Science discipline generally associated with power plant operations.
  • 2 years of relevant experience.
