Treasury and Trade Solution (TTS) group is looking for a delivery focused technology leader to lead the delivery of Core Accounts (Demand and Deposit Account) platform demand for EMEA region.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of requirements to support both the DDA (Demand and Deposit Account) needs of different product teams like Payments, Liquidity, Loans, Trade, Ledger etc. as well as enhancements, de-risking and upkeep of the Core Accounts Platform. In addition, the selected candidate will be responsible for roll out of new target state Core Accounts platform in line with the transformation roadmap for EMEA region.
This role will report directly to the EMEA Head of Core Accounts Technology.
Responsibilities:
Have full responsibility for all the existing Core Banking infrastructure in EMEA region and take complete ownership of the delivery of DDA requirements for EMEA region in line with the agreed roadmap
Act as the single point of contact for delivery of all Core Accounts demand for EMEA region
Develop/grow/oversee internal technology team to manage the implementation of both discretionary and non-discretionary Core Accounts demand for EMEA region
Work in close collaboration with different stakeholders across Operations and Technology (O&T), Product teams, Core Accounts Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to manage the demand for EMEA Core Accounts
Work with other Core Accounts lead to identify opportunities for implementation of target state design and modern engineering practices for the different Core Accounts instances within EMEA region
Work in close collaboration with Integration and Data lead to identify opportunities for introduction of new data and integration architecture leading to reduction in hand-offs and de-risking of Core Accounts platforms Drive adoption of integration and data strategy
Work in close collaboration with Integration and Data lead to identify opportunities for introduction of new data and integration architecture leading to reduction in hand-offs and de-risking of Core Accounts platforms Collaborate with dev and QA leads to define key delivery metrics for EMEA Core Accounts and track progress
Work closely with Dev Ops teams to introduce best practices in the region
Lead the socialization of Core Accounts transformation strategy across different stakeholders within EMEA region and articulate the target state vision
Work with country specific transformation teams and regional leads to understand the pain points and additional functionality required to meet client needs
Drive implementation of CI/CD practices and agile delivery methodology for EMEA Flexcube instances
Oversight and accountability for resource and financial plans for the EMEA Core Accounts Platforms
Oversight and accountability of Risk and Controls across EMEA Core Accounts Platforms, including leadership of the End of Vendor Support programmes.
Qualifications and Experience
15+ years of experience with majority in leading complex technology transformation in Banking domain
Experience of managing large scale technology organisation, preferably with experience on major Core Banking platforms like Flexcube, Temenos, Finacle etc
Experience in leading multi-country Core Banking implementation and support with global banks
Experience in managing senior stakeholders across Technology, Operations and Product teams
Experience building and leading globally diverse engineering teams
Able to operate in an ambiguous environment and bring structure and method to delivery of technology demand
Effective verbal and written communication and being able to engage with senior leadership
Able to challenge business stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure the right business benefits are delivered and risks are managed
Education:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
