to oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Extra Low Voltage systems on various projects across Dubai. The candidate must be familiar with
SIRA regulations
and capable of supervising teams to ensure compliance with UAE safety and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of ELV systems including:
CCTV (as per SIRA standards)
Access Control Systems
Fire Alarm & Public Address Systems
Structured Cabling & Data Networks
Intercom, SMATV, and BMS
Ensure compliance with SIRA, DEWA, and Dubai Municipality standards.
Coordinate with SIRA inspectors for system inspections and approvals.
Supervise ELV technicians and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed on time and within quality standards.
Read and interpret ELV drawings and technical documentation.
Conduct on-site risk assessments and ensure all health & safety regulations are followed.
Troubleshoot technical issues and support the commissioning team.
Maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and daily logs.
Coordinate material procurement and manage inventory at the site.
Assist in preparing as-built drawings and operation manuals for handover.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering.
Valid SIRA Supervisor Certification
(mandatory).
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in ELV systems installation and supervision in the UAE.
Strong understanding of SIRA compliance requirements and documentation.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
Familiar with AutoCAD, MS Office, and project scheduling tools.
UAE driving license preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications from ELV vendors (e.g., Hikvision, Dahua, Honeywell).
Familiarity with green building standards and smart building systems.
Knowledge of integration of ELV systems (e.g., linking CCTV with access control or BMS).
