Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Pre sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and estimating the costs for ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems, ensuring all designs meet industry standards, client specifications, and safety regulations. You will also collaborate with Senior team members & Project managers and clients to deliver high-quality solutions while adhering to deadlines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing ELV Systems

: Design and develop ELV systems including CCTV, Access control, Structured Cabling System, PA/BGM, AV systems, SMATV, Intercom etc. based on client requirements.

Estimating Project Costs

: Prepare detailed estimates for ELV systems, including labor, materials, and other project-related costs.

Preparation of Tender Documents

: Create comprehensive tender documentation, including system specifications, bill of quantities, and scope of work for projects.

Preparation of Project Documents

: Material submittals, General Project documentations & Handing Over documents.

Coordination and Collaboration

: Work closely with Senior team members & Project managers, Engineers, Procurement Team and clients to ensure project designs and estimates align with requirements and budgets.

Site Assessments

: Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements, propose solutions, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Compliance & Standards

: Ensure all designs comply with relevant local and international standards, codes, and regulations.

Revisions & Updates

: Revise designs and estimates based on project changes or new requirements, keeping all stakeholders informed.

Vendor & Supplier Liaison

: Liaise with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes and ensure the selection of the best materials and equipment for the projects.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in ELV system design and estimation, preferably within the Engineering Industry. Strong knowledge of ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, SMATV, Intercom, Audio/Video, Structured Cabling System etc. Proficiency in AutoCAD Software for shop drawing preparations. Familiarity with local and international standards related to ELV systems (SIRA, TRA, ADMCC etc). Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Desirable Skills:

Certification in ELV or related technologies. Proven experience in effective team collaboration. Proactive attitude with a solutions-oriented approach, avoiding complaints
