Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a business partner to the relevant business manager and leads local finance teams to optimize the financial performance within an assigned division / business area. Each day, you will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending the most appropriate business solutions.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Driving the definition and implementation of global standards and business specific guidelines to ensure continuous improvement in financial control within your area of responsibility. Leading, providing guidance, and facilitating best practices to ensure alignment and consistency of controlling practices. Ensuring timely and efficient communication with relevant internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality, and efficiency for your area of responsibility. Securing transparency in financial reporting and disclosures. Ensures compliance with standards, regulations, and guidelines. Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area. Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities. Accountable for the health and safety of all employees and contractors for the teams in scope

Qualifications for the role

A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or accounting is
required
5-8 years of experience in a related Role combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated performance
and results; in the areas of business, finance, operational controlling and/or

accounting
Strong cost planning knowledge and understanding of service accounting and
revenue recognition
Hands on experience of working in SAP Modules FI, CO, MM, PP, PS Experience in CPA Strong Microsoft Office/computer skills and expertise in APP reporting tools
